You will collaborate closely with a highly supportive SLP via telepractice, ensuring effective teamwork and guidance. Prior to beginning, all potential candidates will have the opportunity to connect directly with the supervising SLP, making for a seamless and positive working relationship.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license in California
- Minimum of 3 months of recent experience working as an SLPA (school setting preferred)
- Ability to manage an elementary school caseload (TK-5)
- Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus, but not mandatory
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language services to elementary students under SLP supervision
- Implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising SLP
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation
- Assist with assessments and progress monitoring
- Support students’ communication goals in both individual and group settings
- Participate in team meetings as needed
