Position Overview

We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support elementary-aged students in a school-based setting. This full-time opportunity serves a Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 5th-grade caseload and offers collaboration with an experienced supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans and therapy goals.
  • Support students with a variety of communication needs in an elementary school setting.
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate service records.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers.
  • Participate in team meetings and consultations as needed.
  • Follow all state and district regulations regarding SLPA practice.

Qualifications Required

  • Active California SLPA license.
  • Minimum of 3 months of SLPA experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with elementary-aged students.

Preferred

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Previous school-based experience.
  • Experience supporting diverse student populations and communication needs.
