Speech-Language Pathology Assistant

Calling on Speech-Language Pathology Assistants based in Madera, CA! Soliant is seeking a long-term substitute SLPA to help cover an extended leave of absence.

Scope of work:

• SLPA will be working with elementary school aged students
• Under the supervision of a remote SLP, candidate will either facilitate remote therapy, or provide direct therapy interventions
• Student population ranges from Speech-only students to students with moderate communication needs
• Assignment date will be October 15th 2026 to February 12th 2027 (with a possibility of extending if additional SLPA support is needed)

We seek candidates with the following licenses and experience:

• Active SLPA license
• 1+ year of experience providing speech therapy to a pediatric population

Candidates with the following skills and competencies will thrive in this assignment:

• Strong communication skills: work closely with your supervising SLP and collaborate with onsite staff
• Ability to be self-directed and solution oriented
• Coachability: be able to take direction from supervising SLP
• Good rapport with students

Pay and benefits:

• Hourly, W2 pay in the range of $42-$50, dependent on experience

• Paid sick leave, accrued at the rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked
