Step into a rewarding contract role supporting young learners as a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the upcoming academic year. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists and educators to provide direct therapy and implement individualized treatment plans—making a tangible impact on students’ growth and communication development.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active SLPA licensure or eligibility required
- Relevant experience in schools or pediatric healthcare settings strongly preferred
- Ability to work with K-5th grade students across a range of communication and intervention needs
- Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
- Excellent organization and time management to handle a full-time schedule
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services under the supervision of an SLP
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Support data collection, progress monitoring, and documentation for each student
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to foster comprehensive student support
- Maintain up-to-date records and ensure compliance with all local and state guidelines
This full-time contract position offers 40 hours per week from August 3, 2026, through May 28, 2027—giving you a consistent, fulfilling schedule within a supportive school environment.
