School Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) | Manassas, Virginia

Kick off your next career adventure as a contract Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting schools in select regions of Prince William County. Serving the vibrant communities of Dale City, Dumfries, and Woodbridge, you'll play an essential role assisting students with their communication and language needs for the 2026-2027 school year.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech/Communication Disorders or related field required
• No SLPA license required in Virginia
• Previous school-based SLPA experience is a plus
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Support implementation of student-specific speech and language therapy plans under the guidance of certified SLPs
• Collect data and document student progress
• Assist with screenings and language activities
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and school support staff
• Participate in school meetings and in-service programs, as assigned

Position Details:

• Contract position, August 24th, 2026 – June 12th, 2027
• 35 hours per week (7 hours per day), allowing you to fully immerse in the school environment
• Serve multiple school sites in Dale City, Dumfries, and Woodbridge
