Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold an active SLPA license in the state of Texas
- Completion of an accredited SLPA program with required coursework and practicum
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and families
- Ability to implement treatment plans under supervisor guidance
- Organized, dependable, and professional with a passion for helping children
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to assigned students under SLP supervision
- Assist with screening, assessment, and documentation tasks
- Follow prepared lesson plans and track student progress toward individualized goals
- Prepare therapy materials and adapt activities to meet students’ developmental needs
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and session notes
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with educators and support staff
