Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid SLPA license or eligibility to obtain (willing to wait for licensure completion)
  • Background in K-12 environments is highly desirable
  • Previous experience in both educational and healthcare SLPA settings is advantageous
  • Effective interpersonal skills with students, staff, and families
  • Commitment to ethical standards and student-centered practices

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language support services as directed by the supervising SLP
  • Assist in implementing communication interventions for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Collect data and maintain accurate records of student progress
  • Support the creation and use of engaging therapy materials
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff to maximize students’ classroom participation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights regarding student progress as needed
