As a contract Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), you will collaborate closely with licensed SLPs to help students excel in school and reach their communication goals. Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Active SLPA license or eligibility in the state
  • Experience working in school or pediatric settings a plus
  • Strong understanding of speech-language intervention techniques

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

What You’ll Do:

  • Implement speech and language therapy activities under the direction of a licensed SLP
  • Support individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication needs
  • Document student progress, collecting data to inform ongoing therapy plans
  • Assist with screenings and evaluations as needed
  • Work with teachers and parents to reinforce language development strategies
  • Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
