Qualifications:

  • Valid SLPA licensure required.
  • Prior experience in school-based settings as an SLPA.
  • Strong knowledge of therapy techniques appropriate for the school environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • This position is not open to new graduates.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students as directed by supervising SLPs.
  • Collect and document data from therapy sessions to support IEP goals and progress monitoring.
  • Support the planning and implementation of tailored therapy activities designed to enhance students’ communication skills.
  • Maintain accurate records and collaborate with team members for student success.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to student-centered discussions.
  • Work onsite, adhering to school schedules and protocols.
