School Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) | Mequon, Wisconsin

Step into an impactful role supporting students in their communication development as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant for the 2026–2027 school year. You’ll collaborate with speech-language pathologists and school staff, working a consistent full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Active SLPA licensure or eligibility to obtain in Wisconsin
• Previous experience in school-based or healthcare settings supporting speech/language services
• Strong communication skills with ability to engage students from diverse backgrounds
• Comfortable collaborating with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with IEPs, progress tracking, and data collection methods
• Organized, reliable, and able to manage a caseload independently under supervision

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with implementation of treatment plans designed by SLPs to address students’ speech and language goals
• Conduct direct and indirect therapy sessions, adapting activities as needed for middle and high school students
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records
• Support SLPs during assessments and contribute to classroom strategies
• Help prepare materials and resources for therapy, ensuring engaging and effective sessions
• Communicate progress and challenges to SLPs and school staff regularly
