You’ll collaborate with speech-language pathologists and school staff, working a consistent full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Active SLPA licensure or eligibility to obtain in Wisconsin
- Previous experience in school-based or healthcare settings supporting speech/language services
- Strong communication skills with ability to engage students from diverse backgrounds
- Comfortable collaborating with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with IEPs, progress tracking, and data collection methods
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage a caseload independently under supervision
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with implementation of treatment plans designed by SLPs to address students’ speech and language goals
- Conduct direct and indirect therapy sessions, adapting activities as needed for middle and high school students
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Support SLPs during assessments and contribute to classroom strategies
- Help prepare materials and resources for therapy, ensuring engaging and effective sessions
- Communicate progress and challenges to SLPs and school staff regularly
