Key Qualifications:

  • Valid SLPA license or certification as required for school settings
  • Experience working in educational or healthcare environments with children or adolescents

  • Familiarity with school-based therapy protocols and documentation
  • Detail-oriented approach for tracking progress and gathering important case information

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of speech and language therapy programs as directed by supervising SLP
  • Work individually or in small groups with students to address their IEP or 504 communication goals
  • Assist in collecting, recording, and reporting data on student progress
  • Adapt and prepare instructional materials and activities to meet individual student needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation of sessions, observations, and outcomes
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with the school team and families regarding student development
