This contract position is ideal for dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) eager to make an impact on elementary-aged learners. You’ll collaborate with diverse school teams to provide direct speech services, helping students achieve their full potential.

Position Details:

  • Start as soon as possible and continue through late May 2027
  • Work a consistent, full-time schedule of 35 hours per week (7 hours per day)
  • On-site work only, with no remote or teletherapy option
  • Based at one designated campus, with assignments at elementary or center schools supporting a traditional caseload

What You’ll Need:

  • Active Florida Department of Health SLPA license
  • At least two years' experience as an SLPA, including a minimum of six months in a school setting
  • Previous experience or readiness to work with both general and, in some locations, more severe student populations
  • Willingness to complete required fingerprinting; familiarity with the AHCA Clearinghouse process is a plus
  • Commitment to timely completion of all credentialing processes to ensure a smooth onboarding

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver direct speech-language services to assigned caseload in accordance with students’ IEPs and school policies
  • Collaborate closely with supervising Speech-Language Pathologists and interdisciplinary team members
  • Implement targeted therapy activities and data collection, supporting each child’s unique communication goals
  • Participate in relevant team meetings and professional development opportunities
