Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Active SLPA license or certification required
  • Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for supporting children’s growth
  • Comfort collaborating with SLPs, teachers, and families
  • Ability to adapt therapy approaches to individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement therapy plans designed by a licensed Speech Language Pathologist
  • Work with students individually or in small groups to help achieve speech and language goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation of sessions and student progress
  • Assist with screenings, assessments, and the preparation of therapy materials
  • Communicate student progress and needs to supervising SLPs and educational staff
  • Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere for students with language or communication challenges
