Step into a fulfilling contract assignment supporting elementary students as a School SLPA. Key Qualifications:

  • Valid, current Minnesota SLPA license required (must be in hand by the interview date)
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
  • Background working with elementary-aged students is preferred
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Dedication to supporting student achievement and growth

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing speech-language therapy plans under the direction of a supervising SLP
  • Deliver direct and indirect services to elementary students per individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Gather and document data on student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and caregivers to support overall student success
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment
  • Maintain documentation per school and state requirements

Assignment Details:

  • Contract role, onsite at elementary campuses in the district
  • Start Date: February 17, 2026 | End Date: June 5, 2026
  • Full-time, 37.5 hours weekly | Monday through Friday | 30-minute unpaid lunch
  • Caseload includes elementary students (specific schools to be determined)
