School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant | Missouri City, Texas

This contract opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact within a supportive school community, with your assigned site thoughtfully considered based on your residence. You'll benefit from consistency, as the caseload is primarily focused at one school, with occasional support at a second site if needed.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active SLPA professional license required
• School-based SLPA experience (elementary, middle, or high school age groups) preferred
• Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices — experience a plus
• Must be able to pass state fingerprinting and background checks
• Flexibility to support a caseload of 80-100 students, tailored to your background and comfort level
• Ready to begin the school year on August 11, 2026, through May 26, 2027

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language interventions as directed by supervising SLPs
• Support IEP implementation and progress tracking for students with communication needs
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with staff, families, and students
• Accurately document sessions and maintain compliance with all district and state mandates
• Integrate technology and AAC tools into therapy sessions to support diverse learning styles
• Maintain a positive, proactive presence in assigned school(s)
