Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Current licensure/registration as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings is preferred
  • Familiarity with educational IEP processes and documentation
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, SLPs, and school staff
  • Strong organizational skills and a compassionate, student-centered approach
  • Clinical experience in healthcare or school environments is an advantage

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language services to students as outlined by supervising SLPs and individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Assist with screening, assessment, and data collection under SLP guidance
  • Support the development and implementation of therapeutic activities in both individual and group settings
  • Document student progress, maintaining accurate and timely records
  • Collaborate regularly with educational staff and families to foster positive outcomes
  • Participate in meetings and training sessions as needed for ongoing professional growth
