An immediate need exists for a skilled SLPA or SLP-A to provide in-person services on a contract basis, working with students two days per week from November through March. Your expertise and compassion will support students’ communication growth, making a difference in their academic and personal success.
What You’ll Bring:
- Valid SLPA license or certification required
- Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) essential
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric environment preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Commitment to supporting a diverse student population
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents
- Reliable transportation for on-site presence
Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering speech and language therapy services under supervision of licensed SLP
- Assisting with screenings, assessments, and documentation
- Supporting individual and small group sessions to address speech, language, and communication needs
- Collaborating with educators and caregivers to implement strategies that foster student progress
- Maintaining accurate records in compliance with school and legal requirements
- Contributing to individualized education and therapy plans
- Fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students
