School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a supportive school district for the upcoming school year. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced Speech-Language Pathologists while making a meaningful impact on students' communication skills and academic success.

Position Responsibilities

  • Implement speech and language treatment plans developed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate therapy records
  • Assist with preparing therapy materials and activities
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student goals
  • Participate in team meetings and maintain compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Perform duties under the supervision of a licensed SLP in accordance with state regulations

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
  • Active SLPA license/certification in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred but not required
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
