Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) | Part-Time

We're seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students in an educational setting in Montrose, CO. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide therapy services and help students achieve their communication goals.

Position Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: 5/21/2027
• Part-time position
• Minimum of 3 days per week
• Primarily elementary school caseload
• Services provided across multiple school sites
• Includes support for one high school student utilizing an AAC device
• Provide direct speech and language therapy services under SLP supervision
• Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers
• Assist with documentation and implementation of student goals

Qualifications

• Active Colorado SLPA license
• Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Experience with AAC devices is a plus
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for helping students reach their communication goals
