This position offers an opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide critical support services within K-12 educational settings located in Moreno Valley, CA. The role involves working across two school sites, serving diverse student populations including Mod-Severe Autism caseloads, Resource Specialist Program (RSP), and Special Day Class (SDC) environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in delivering speech and language therapy services to students.
  • Support students with moderate to severe autism spectrum disorders in both individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with experienced SLP teams to implement effective treatment plans.
  • Participate in data collection, progress monitoring, and documentation to support student development.
  • Facilitate communication between students, families, and multidisciplinary school teams.

Qualifications:

  • Valid SLPA certification/license.
  • Experience working in school settings, preferably K-12.
  • Familiarity with autism spectrum disorders and specialized instructional settings.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow established protocols.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with school-based professionals.

Assignment Details:

  • Location: Moreno Valley, CA.
  • Duration: Contract through 6/5/2026.
  • Weekly Hours: 32.5 hours/week including a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
  • Split assignment between two schools: French Valley Elementary and Margarita Middle School.
