Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold an active SLPA license or certification in Arizona
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to follow treatment plans developed by a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
- Passion for working with school-aged children and supporting their success
- Knowledge of data collection methods and progress monitoring
- Adaptable and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities in This Role:
- Provide therapy sessions to students under the guidance of an SLP
- Implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals as directed
- Assist with screenings and assessments as needed
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with educational staff, families, and caregivers
- Support the generalization of communication skills across classroom settings
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
