In this role, you’ll use your school-based experience to help implement therapy plans, track student progress, and provide necessary interventions. Mileage reimbursement is provided, making travel a worry-free part of your day.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA certification and authorization to work in a school setting
- Previous experience in a school environment preferred
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage an itinerant schedule across multiple sites
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with remote SLP, students, and school personnel
- Organized and detail-oriented when documenting student progress and session notes
- Adaptable, resourceful, and committed to student growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver articulate, engaging speech-language services under the guidance of a remote SLP
- Provide direct support to students aimed at enhancing communication abilities and academic engagement
- Implement individualized therapy plans and document interventions
- Communicate progress to supervising SLP and educational staff
- Travel between assigned schools with mileage reimbursement
