Requirements and Preferred Skills:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license or eligibility in Idaho
• Experience working in school settings or with young learners is highly valued
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt to the needs of students ranging from 1st to 5th grade
• Detail-oriented approach for maintaining records and documenting student progress

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect speech-language services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• Implement therapy activities in small groups or individual sessions for students in grades 1 to 5
• Support students in developing receptive and expressive language, articulation, and social communication skills
• Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to create and monitor student goals
• Collect data and maintain precise student records in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences as needed
