What We're Looking For:

  • Valid state licensure or eligibility as an SLPA
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Solid understanding of elementary-level curriculum and communication challenges for students in 1st through 5th grades
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to follow individualized education plans and work under supervision of an SLP
  • Adaptability and compassion for working with diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement speech and language therapy activities as directed by the supervising SLP
  • Work closely with classroom teachers and staff to integrate communication strategies
  • Support students in small group or one-on-one settings to foster speech and language development
  • Monitor progress and document student performance
  • Assist with assessment, data collection, and preparation of materials
  • Encourage and motivate students to achieve their communication goals
