This is a rewarding opportunity for two Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) seeking full-time, contract positions in schools for the full academic year. Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Valid California SLPA license or eligibility to obtain before start date
  • Experience supporting speech therapy in a school-based environment is highly recommended
  • Knowledge of evidence-based interventions for children and adolescents with communication disorders
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect positively with students, families, and staff
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time-management and documentation abilities
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing caseload needs and work collaboratively with supervising SLPs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support implementation of speech and language therapy plans under SLP supervision
  • Work one-on-one and in small groups with students to target specified communication goals
  • Track student progress and collect data as required for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Prepare materials and participate in therapy session planning
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and specialists to support student outcomes
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all state, local, and school district guidelines
