Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • School-based experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively with supervising SLPs, teachers, and school staff
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Positive, student-centered attitude

Role Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with students on speech, language, and communication goals under supervision of an SLP
  • Assist in implementing therapy activities and carrying out treatment plans
  • Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP discussions as required
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and staff regarding student progress
