Take the opportunity to support students in grades 6–12 as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant covering for maternity leave. This contract position near New Berlin, WI, is available for full-time or part-time professionals, starting August 27th, 2026, and ending November 27th, 2026. You’ll be a key team member during a vital period, working on-site in a school environment and impacting learners at a formative time.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • SLPA licensure or eligibility as required for school settings
  • Previous experience providing speech and language services in schools, especially with middle and high school students, is preferred
  • Ability to deliver effective direct and indirect services under SLP supervision
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Comfortable collaborating with educators and families

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language services to students in grades 6–12, both individually and in group sessions
  • Implement therapy plans designed by the supervising SLP
  • Document progress and maintain required records
  • Collaborate with special education teams as needed
  • Focus solely on contracted therapy hours—no bus or lunch duty, parent pick-up/drop-off, or other district-adjacent tasks required
