Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a current Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license recognized in Pennsylvania.
  • Prior experience in an educational environment or working with pediatric populations is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a school-based caseload under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Proficient in implementing lesson plans and therapy activities tailored for students with diverse learning styles.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech therapy services to students as assigned, supporting language and communication goals.
  • Collaborate closely with the supervising SLP and educational team on individualized student plans (IEPs).
  • Document session activities, progress, and observations in compliance with school and state standards.
  • Support learning strategies for students in Life Skills (LS) classrooms, adapting interventions as needed.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging environment to promote student engagement.
  • Assist with material preparation and data collection to ensure smooth therapy sessions.
