Beginning as soon as possible and extending through late May 2027, this assignment offers a consistent 37.5-hour workweek on a single elementary campus. Your role will involve a caseload of approximately 60-80 students, with a focus on conducting evaluations, participating in ARD meetings, and providing direct therapy services. This position is exclusively onsite, ensuring you’ll become an integral part of the campus community and collaborate closely with educators and other specialists.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and active SLPA license required
- Previous experience in a school or healthcare setting as an SLPA
- Strong understanding of therapy planning and implementation for elementary-aged students
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
- Skilled in documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance with ARD processes
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group speech-language therapy under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Conduct thorough evaluations for students identified by the school team
- Actively participate in ARDs, providing valuable input for IEP development
- Maintain timely and accurate records of student progress and communication
- Foster relationships with students, staff, and families to optimize therapy outcomes
