What we’re looking for:
- Valid SLPA license or certification in the state of Delaware (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience in school-based settings highly preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, teachers, and families
- Familiarity with a variety of speech/language disorders and therapy techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Organized, flexible, and reliable professional with a commitment to student growth
Primary responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Provide direct and indirect therapy to students with various speech and language needs
- Document and maintain accurate records of services delivered
- Assist in screening, assessment, and progress monitoring
- Communicate effectively with educators, families, and supervisors about student progress
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities as needed
