Key Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or equivalent
  • Valid SLPA licensure for the state or eligibility to obtain
  • Previous experience working in a school, pediatric, or educational setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising SLPs, teachers, and families
  • Adaptable, organized, and committed to supporting student success

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing individualized therapy plans for students
  • Conduct group and 1:1 therapy sessions under supervision
  • Track student progress, record data, and maintain accurate documentation
  • Assist with screening and informal assessment activities as directed
  • Support the preparation and organization of therapy materials
  • Foster a positive, encouraging environment for students at every ability level
  • Participate actively in team meetings and classroom collaboration
