Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid SLPA license required
  • Prior experience supporting speech-language services in a school setting preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other school professionals
  • Flexibility and enthusiasm for working with children and adolescents
  • Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and goal tracking a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement therapy activities and programs developed by a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Provide direct support to students under the supervision of certified SLP staff
  • Assist in documenting student progress and maintaining records
  • Help administer screenings and assessments as directed
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and families to optimize student outcomes
  • Prepare and organize therapy materials and resources
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary planning
