Desired Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility as an SLPA
  • Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred

  • Compassion, patience, and enthusiasm for working with children

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement prescribed therapy plans designed by a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions targeting speech, language, and communication needs
  • Collect data on student progress and report findings to the supervising SLP
  • Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and parent conferences as needed
  • Prepare therapy materials and maintain accurate documentation
  • Assist with screenings and assessments under the guidance of the SLP
