You'll work 2-3 days per week, providing direct support to students under the guidance of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. Key Qualifications:
- Current SLPA license, certification, or eligibility to obtain upon hire
- Previous school-based experience highly preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and record-keeping abilities
- Ability to build trusting relationships with students, teachers, and families
- Adaptive, flexible, and eager to support diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services as directed by the supervising SLP
- Conduct therapy sessions in both individual and group settings
- Support students in achieving their IEP goals
- Maintain accurate session notes and progress reports
- Collaborate with educators and staff to integrate therapy within the school day
- Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development as needed
