Enjoy a structured, on-site position beginning in August 2026, set to run through the end of May 2027. This role offers part-time hours (7.5–22.5 per week) with the possibility of expanding to full-time hours, pending supervision availability. You’ll work with a caseload of approximately 50-55 students, gaining experience across elementary and middle school settings.
Skills, Credentials, and Experience:
- Active Florida Department of Health SLPA license required
- Experience in K-12 educational environments highly preferred
- Ability to travel between multiple school sites within the district
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Completion of fingerprinting requirements via the AHCA Clearinghouse; JLA badge needed (process includes application or badge transfer if previously obtained in another district)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language support services to students as outlined in IEPs, under SLP supervision
- Monitor and document student progress
- Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, educators, and families
- Travel between assigned schools to provide services and maximize your schedule
- Maintain compliance with all documentation, privacy, and district protocols
