Licensed Certified School Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) | North Hollywood, California

In this full-time role (30 to 35 hours per week), you’ll work itinerantly within the district, delivering vital speech and language services. Your expertise will be especially valuable for students using AAC devices, making a tangible impact on their communication and educational progress.

Your support begins on March 16, 2026—just ahead of spring break (March 23–27)—which offers a smooth transition into the school community. With an average weekly travel of 40-50 miles between school sites, you’ll have your mileage reimbursed, making your commute hassle-free. Additionally, you'll benefit from professional supervision, ensuring you feel confident and connected in your role.

Ideal candidates will offer:

• Current SLPA certification and state licensure
• Experience working in educational settings, ideally with K-12 students
• Familiarity supporting students who use AAC devices
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with supervising SLPs and educational teams
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Implementing speech-language therapy plans under SLP supervision
• Traveling between school sites to provide direct service
• Supporting students’ use of AAC devices and adapting interventions as needed
• Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records
• Participating in team meetings and communicating with teachers and families
