You’ll enjoy a 37.5-hour work week supporting a diverse caseload, serving students across two closely located sites. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in dynamic settings, value teamwork with teachers and specialists, and have a heart for helping children develop essential communication skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active SLPA license or certification required.
- School-based experience, especially with K-8 students, highly desired.
- Familiarity with implementing speech therapy treatment plans under the supervision of an SLP.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Adaptable and proactive approach to working across multiple school sites (travel between sites is minimal).
- Able to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other school staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support speech and language services, following the direction and supervision of the lead SLP.
- Deliver targeted interventions to students in both group and individual settings.
- Help track student progress and keep documentation up to date.
- Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Engage with staff and families to help students reach their communication goals.
- Travel between two nearby school sites as part of your daily schedule.
