This on-site role runs from August 10, 2026, to May 21, 2027, with a full-time schedule of up to 37.5 hours per week. You'll likely focus on serving one school site (final location to be confirmed), delivering meaningful services that help empower students to reach their communication goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Active Texas SLPA licensure (required)
- Experience working with school-aged children, ideally within a K-12 setting
- Strong collaborative and communication skills
- Bilingual Spanish/English abilities are highly preferred, enhancing service to a diverse student body
- Must complete or verify fingerprinting through the TEA (allow up to 10 business days for clearance)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language support under the supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist
- Carry out individual and small group interventions tailored to each student’s IEP goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress records
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other school staff to support student success
- Participate in team meetings and contribute valuable insights regarding student progress
