Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students with communication needs in a dynamic Texas school setting. As a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), you’ll work with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality direct services to groups of young learners, fostering their growth and academic engagement.

In this full-time role, you’ll be on-site during school hours, primarily serving a caseload of 70–80 elementary students in group sessions. You’ll collaborate and grow professionally under the supervision of an on-site, licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to make a real difference in children’s school experience.

Desired Skills & Requirements:

  • Active Texas SLPA license (TDLR) required
  • Recent experience in a school-based SLPA role preferred
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Comfortable working with elementary-aged children in group settings
  • Commitment to professional ethics and best practices
  • Ability to follow directions and therapy plans provided by a supervising SLP

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech/language interventions to elementary students, mostly in group formats
  • Track students’ progress and assist with required documentation
  • Work closely with supervising SLP to implement individualized therapy plans
  • Communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents as needed
  • Support a positive, inclusive learning environment
