Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in North Richland Hills, TX

With a Monday through Friday schedule (8:00 am – 4:30 pm), you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference in students’ communication development while working regular hours.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Texas
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience working in a school, pediatric, or educational setting
• Familiarity with delivering speech and language interventions under SLP supervision
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong team orientation and a compassionate approach to student care
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 85 students

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech therapy services to students, following treatment plans established by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
• Support individualized education plans (IEPs) and maintain accurate documentation of student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and the supervising SLP to promote effective communication strategies in the classroom
• Prepare and adapt activities and materials for therapy sessions
• Assist with screenings and progress monitoring as directed
• Maintain confidentiality and support a positive school environment
