Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ communication needs as a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) from August through December. Qualifications & Experience:

  • Hold an active SLPA or SLP license (California)
  • Previous experience in a school environment preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a supportive team member

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect speech and language intervention services under the supervision of a licensed SLP (if SLPA)
  • Support students with speech, language, and communication needs according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Conduct screenings and assist with assessments as allowed by licensure
  • Maintain accurate documentation of sessions and progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school staff
  • Participate in staff meetings and relevant training sessions
  • Help foster a positive, inclusive environment for students
