Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant near Oakland, CA! This contract position is available for immediate start and continues through the end of the school year, with the possibility of limited summer extension as part of our small ESY program.

You’ll play an essential role working on-site 3-5 days per week, supporting students and helping complete IEPs for a manageable caseload of 55. You’ll be fully supported, including access to supervision—costs covered—so you can focus on making a difference in students’ progress and achievements.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid California SLPA license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous school-based experience preferred, but candidates with strong clinical skills and a positive attitude are encouraged to apply
  • Ability to work independently with remote or in-person supervision provided as needed
  • Team-oriented with excellent communication and organizational abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language services to a diverse student caseload
  • Collaborate with supervising SLP and school staff to finish IEPs and document progress
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with state and district requirements
  • Participate in planning and supportive duties as needed during the school day

Position Highlights:

  • Flexible 3-5 days per week schedule; 7.5 paid hours daily plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch (8:30am-4:30pm)
  • Contract runs through June 5, with option for minimal summer ESY hours
  • Oversight and supervision costs are covered
