Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid SLPA license for practice in California
  • Previous experience in school settings is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capability to implement treatment plans and adapt activities for students with varying needs
  • Comfortable using technology for virtual supervision and daily documentation
  • Collaborative mindset with willingness to work as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in delivering planned speech and language services to students as directed by supervising SLP
  • Engage students in a variety of one-on-one and group therapy sessions
  • Document student progress, session notes, and therapy outcomes in compliance with school policies
  • Support in screening and informal assessments as required
  • Foster an encouraging atmosphere that empowers students to communicate effectively
  • Maintain ongoing communication with teachers, parents, and supervisory staff
