Key Qualifications:

• Valid California licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
• Previous experience supporting speech therapy services in a school setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal abilities to engage effectively with students, families, and staff
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Organizational skills with attention to detail and confidentiality

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering therapy services to students.
• Carry out therapy activities and interventions as directed, ensuring a supportive and positive approach.
• Monitor student progress and document outcomes according to established procedures.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education teams to help integrate speech-language goals.
• Prepare therapy materials and maintain accurate, timely records.
• Attend meetings and participate in ongoing training as needed to stay current with best practices.
