Qualifications and Experience:

  • Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or a related field (Bachelor’s preferred)
  • Valid California SLPA licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • School-based experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to student growth and inclusivity
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement therapeutic activities as directed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Support students in developing language, articulation, fluency, and social communication skills
  • Collect data to monitor student progress and assist with documentation
  • Prepare materials and resources for therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to generalize skills in the educational setting
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
