Qualifications:
- Valid and current SLPA license for the state of Arizona
- Previous experience in a school environment or with children preferred
- Knowledge of speech and language therapy practices
- Strong communication skills—both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively collaborate with speech-language pathologists, teachers, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language interventions under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Support students individually or in small groups based on their IEPs and goals
- Assist in preparing materials for therapy sessions and documenting student progress
- Participate in team meetings and contribute insights regarding student development
- Maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment
- Provide feedback and suggestions for student strategies to teachers and staff
