Qualifications:

  • Valid and current SLPA license for the state of Arizona
  • Previous experience in a school environment or with children preferred
  • Knowledge of speech and language therapy practices

  • Ability to effectively collaborate with speech-language pathologists, teachers, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language interventions under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Support students individually or in small groups based on their IEPs and goals
  • Assist in preparing materials for therapy sessions and documenting student progress
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute insights regarding student development
  • Maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for student strategies to teachers and staff
