Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid SLPA license for the state
- Previous experience working in a school environment preferred
- Familiarity with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to organize materials and document student progress
- Positive attitude and adaptability in dynamic settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering therapy to students
- Work one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce speech and language goals
- Prepare session materials and assist with assessments
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of student performance
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to ensure best practices
- Participate in meetings and contribute to IEP documentation as needed
- Adapt activities and support classroom integration of communication strategies
