Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid SLPA license for the state
  • Previous experience working in a school environment preferred
  • Familiarity with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to organize materials and document student progress
  • Positive attitude and adaptability in dynamic settings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering therapy to students
  • Work one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce speech and language goals
  • Prepare session materials and assist with assessments
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of student performance
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to ensure best practices
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to IEP documentation as needed
  • Adapt activities and support classroom integration of communication strategies
