This role is tailored for a passionate SLPA who enjoys a manageable caseload (under 30 students) and thrives within an onsite, collaborative school environment. With a set schedule of 35 hours per week, you’ll have the consistency and structure that supports both work-life balance and impactful therapy.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Current SLPA licensure as required by the state of Florida
- Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Ability to work onsite and engage with students in person
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Compassionate and team-oriented approach when supporting young learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Assist with planning and implementing individual or group sessions tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Document student progress, maintain detailed records, and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student growth
- Foster a positive, encouraging environment where students feel confident practicing new skills
