Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure or eligibility as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
- Experience within school-based settings or with pediatric populations is highly desirable
- Ability to provide both direct and indirect services to support student communication needs
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- A collaborative approach within multidisciplinary educational teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to K-12 students according to IEP goals
- Document services and progress in a timely, accurate manner
- Collaborate with supervising Speech Language Pathologists and other school professionals
- Support classroom teachers in the implementation of communication strategies
- Adhere to all ethical and legal guidelines within the educational setting
