What we’re seeking:

  • Current licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in Washington State
  • Recent experience supporting students in educational settings
  • Understanding of evidence-based practices and individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, flexible approach
  • Excellent documentation and record-keeping abilities
  • Ability to adapt to varying student needs across age groups

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out therapy sessions as directed by supervising SLPs, individually or in small groups
  • Implementing established treatment plans and tracking student progress
  • Assisting with speech, language, and communication screenings and assessments
  • Maintaining up-to-date documentation and supporting compliance with district policies
  • Fostering positive, encouraging relationships with students, families, and staff
  • Participating in team meetings to review student goals and share insights for continuous improvement
