Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Washington State SLPA license or eligibility to obtain before assignment starts
  • Previous experience in a K-12 or pediatric/school setting preferred
  • Familiarity with delivering speech-language interventions and supporting IEP implementation
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational and documentation abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills with students, families, and staff

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services under the supervision of an SLP
  • Assist with the implementation of IEP goals and track student progress
  • Support screenings, assessments, and data collection
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to promote student success
  • Prepare therapy materials and maintain accurate records
  • Attend team meetings and contribute to progress discussions
