School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Ontario, California

Step into an exciting opportunity supporting students and staff as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) working in both school-based and healthcare settings. Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Active SLPA license in California
• Experience working in K-12 school environments
• Familiarity with both school and healthcare-related speech-language therapy practices
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with students, teachers, family members, and fellow professionals
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Adaptability and professionalism in a dynamic educational environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy sessions to students under SLP supervision
• Assist in screening, assessment, and documentation of student progress
• Support IEP implementation and monitor students’ communication goals
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with district and state guidelines
• Collaborate with educators and school staff to create effective communication strategies in the classroom
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to educational planning
