Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Speech Communications, or a related field, OR an AAS degree from an accredited SLPA program
- Current, active SLPA certification or license
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, especially under pressure
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and travel between school sites as needed
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services as outlined in students’ IEPs, always maintaining professional integrity
- Collaborate closely with supervising SLPs for guidance, supervision, and professional development
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and communication strategies
- Engage with students, staff, and families with sensitivity and professionalism, even during high-stress situations
- Work exclusively onsite (virtual work is not offered for this assignment)
- May be required to travel between different schools within the district
