You’ll work directly with school-aged students to provide impactful speech and language services, collaborating with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists who will guide and mentor you throughout the assignment. Your contributions will help students reach communication milestones, while you advance your own professional journey in a setting that values growth and teamwork.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Speech Communications, or a related field, OR an AAS degree from an accredited SLPA program
  • Current, active SLPA certification or license
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, especially under pressure
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and travel between school sites as needed

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services as outlined in students’ IEPs, always maintaining professional integrity
  • Collaborate closely with supervising SLPs for guidance, supervision, and professional development
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and communication strategies
  • Engage with students, staff, and families with sensitivity and professionalism, even during high-stress situations
  • Work exclusively onsite (virtual work is not offered for this assignment)
  • May be required to travel between different schools within the district
